3 month pictures

facebook is a strange land but sometimes it really comes through for you! i was reunited with an old college friend who is starting a photography business and she was kind enough to come take some pictures of salem to document that oh so important 3 month mark. click here to link to her facebook album where she posted some of the pictures. i hope to be able to share more when i get digital copies from her! i am IN LOVE with the ones of him in the hats and have ordered him one for the fall/winter. love love love.

12, 13...

as usual, i'm late with the update! i started back to work full time on july 1st and this month has flown by. being back at work is strange but bearable thanks to my sidekick who is with me several days a week and usually visits me on the days i don't have him. he is a big hit at the clinic and i've become very popular thanks to him. i'm so glad that i moved things around in my office to make room for salem's pack n' play. he plays and naps and is totally comfortable there. thank goodness.

when week 13 rolled around it meant we officially had a 3 month old. i had one of the MAs at work weigh him and measure him since we don't have another appointment with the pediatrician until he is 4 months. he weighed in at a whopping 12 lbs, 5 oz and measured 23.5 inches long.

10, 11...

the day before salem turned 10 weeks, i headed back to work. i decided to use the last 2 weeks of my allowed leave to ease myself back in by going only part time. thank god i did it that way! it has been a rough transition. thankfully, the doctor's office where my office is located allows, even encourages, their employees to bring their kids to work when able. though i'm not an employee of the clinic, i'm taking advantage of this perk.  

salem will be coming with me roughly 2 days each week. the other days he'll be home with stephen. this arrangement will get us through until steve finds a new job. then we'll see what happens! i've got a pack n' play set up in my office and the 2nd week was much easier. i think salem is starting to see my office as an extension of home.

father's day!

salem was 9.5 weeks when father's day 2011 rolled in. we spent it hanging out at the house with daddy. here are some pictures from that day.

9 weeks = aunt liss!

the 9 week mark was huge. aunt liss came in town AND salem moved into his room! we spent lots of time with family that week and he (re)embraced tummy time.
